When Yoshino states that we are all part of the inclusion paradigm, he means that we all have potential issues with being included.  Do you agree that everyone has “outsider” aspects to their identities, aspects they might choose to hide?  What does it mean to “modulate your outsider identity”?

I agree with what Yoshino states to an extent. I agree that everybody probably has aspects of themselves that they choose to hide in public. However, I would not necessarily call them “outsider” aspects. To me, having an outsider aspect has a more negative connotation, meaning that it may be something that is not socially acceptable in most places. Saying someone has an “outsider” trait sounds like it is taking the problem to an extreme. I would say that people hide certain things about themselves in certain environments. I know I am guilty of it, and I am sure that most other people are too. Whether it’s to “fit in” or it is a subconscious decision, people are guilty of doing this. This is what is known as modulating your outsider identity
